June 16, 2008: Rattlesnake - Graphic! Don't look if you're squeamish!

The whole story is posted on the TortoiseGeek Blog, but the short version is this: We found this rattlesnake underneath the front porch last night. Alan shot it with the .22-caliber rifle. And talk about mixed emotions: Gizmo the kitty really wanted to investigate the dead snake, but wisely didn't want to get TOO close.
